KPM is looking for a reliable and skilled Multifamily Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team.
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetics of our multifamily residential properties. This role requires a hands-on approach, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing excellent resident service.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.
- Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests and emergency situations.
- Assist with apartment turnover and make-ready processes.
- Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to identify and resolve potential issues.
- Maintain maintenance tools and inventory materials.
- Collaborate with the property management team to ensure property standards are upheld.
- Adhere to safety and regulatory compliance guidelines.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-3 years of experience in multifamily maintenance or similar field preferred.
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance tasks.
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform maintenance tasks independently.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and on-call as required.
