AJ Employment Services is hiring experienced Apartment Maintenance Technicians for multiple communities across the Phoenix metro. These are temp-to-hire opportunities with reputable property management companies who are actively looking to add strong techs to their teams.

Position Overview

You will perform a full range of apartment maintenance tasks, including unit turns, work orders, and preventive maintenance. Our clients depend on techs who show initiative, communicate well, and take pride in their work.

We are looking for candidates who are ready to step into a community and make an immediate impact.

Responsibilities:

• Complete work orders efficiently and professionally
• Perform unit turns (carpentry, basic plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, etc.)
• Troubleshoot and repair residential-level maintenance issues
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the property
• Assist with preventative maintenance programs
• Communicate with supervisors and leasing staff regarding repairs
• Provide excellent customer service to residents

Requirement:

• Minimum 1 year of apartment maintenance experience (multifamily required)
• Must own basic hand tools (power tools preferred)
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
• Ability and willingness to pass a background check
• Strong work ethic, communication skills, and reliability
• Ability to work independently without supervision
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and handle physical tasks daily
