About the Role
As a Floating Assistant Community Property Manager at Z Modular, you will play a key role in supporting operational efficiency, leasing performance, and resident satisfaction across a portfolio of residential communities. This position requires flexibility, strong relationship-building skills, and a service-oriented mindset, offering the opportunity to directly influence team effectiveness and occupancy rates across multiple sites.
You will collaborate with onsite property teams, residents, vendors, and corporate staff, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and consistency in service delivery. This is a field-based floating role that requires regular travel between properties across our growing portfolio.

What You’ll Do
• Provides hands-on operational support at multiple communities on a rotating or as-needed basis
• Assists with leasing, resident relations, and administrative tasks to maintain smooth property operations
• Ensures timely rent collection and supports coordination of maintenance requests
• Fills in during staff absences, high leasing seasons, and special projects to maintain continuity
• Supports onboarding and mentoring of junior staff and new leasing agents
• Upholds company policies while delivering exceptional customer service to residents
• Communicates clearly with residents, vendors, and corporate team members to resolve issues
• Conducts property audits to ensure compliance with Fair Housing and company standards
• Assists with financial reporting, budgeting, and general property administration
• Supports marketing initiatives including social media, outreach, and resident events
• Troubleshoots resident concerns and escalates complex issues as appropriate
• Monitors leasing performance and contributes to occupancy improvement strategies
• Participates in move-in and move-out inspections, ensuring accurate documentation
• Helps implement updates to company software, systems, and operational processes
Who You Are
• 3+ years of experience in property management, preferably in lease-up or multifamily housing
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Proficient in Yardi property management software and standard office tools
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
• Team-oriented and adaptable to working with different teams and environments
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between multiple property locations
