About the Role
As a Sr. Leasing Associate at Zekelman Industries (Z Modular – FLATZ 623), you will play a critical role in driving occupancy and revenue during an active lease-up in Avondale, AZ. This position is highly focused on accelerating lease velocity, converting leads into residents, and creating an exceptional first impression that sets the tone for long-term resident satisfaction.
This role requires a strong sales mindset, relationship-building skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand lease-up environment. You will contribute directly to achieving stabilization goals by executing strategic leasing efforts, maintaining a high-energy presence on-site, and consistently delivering a best-in-class prospect and resident experience.
You will collaborate closely with property management, marketing partners, and operations teams to ensure consistent messaging, strong lead generation, and seamless execution of the leasing process. This is a full-time, onsite role located in Avondale, AZ (FLATZ 623).

What You'll Do:
Drive leasing performance during lease-up by converting high volumes of leads into signed leases and achieving occupancy targets
Greet and qualify prospective residents while delivering engaging, high-impact property tours that highlight lifestyle value
Respond to leasing inquiries across phone, email, and digital platforms with urgency to maximize conversion rates
Manage the full leasing lifecycle including application processing, screening, and lease execution in compliance with company standards
Maintain an active and organized leasing pipeline using CRM tools to track prospects and ensure consistent follow-up
Execute renewal strategies and resident retention initiatives to support occupancy stabilization
Partner with marketing efforts by supporting outreach campaigns, events, and local networking to generate qualified traffic
Ensure model units and amenity spaces are consistently tour-ready and aligned with lease-up presentation standards
Support move-ins, move-outs, and resident interactions to deliver a seamless and positive experience
Leads and promotes healthy and safe work practices as required by regulatory agencies and Company policy
Who You Are:
1-3 years of experience in residential property management lease-up environments
High school diploma or equivalent required
Proven lease-up experience with a track record of driving occupancy and meeting leasing goals
Strong proficiency with CRM systems, leasing software, and digital communication tools
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and persuasive sales skills
Confident closer with a professional presence and results-driven mindset
Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and leasing regulations preferred
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and occasional evenings
Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform essential job functions, including conducting property tours, inspecting apartment homes and common areas, and interacting with residents and prospects
Regular movement throughout the property, including stairs and outdoor areas, in varying weather conditions
Ability to operate a computer, phone, and standard office equipment
Visual ability to review documents and assess units and property conditions for cleanliness, safety, and readiness
Ability to stand or remain stationary for extended periods
Occasional lifting or moving of items such as packages, office supplies, leasing materials, or event equipment (up to 50 pounds)
